The person said that Bloomberg spent $500 million and since there are 327 million people in the United States, each person could have gotten one million dollars each instead of him wasting the money on his failed campaign.
Brian Williams, his guest, and everyone else involved with the show somehow did not catch the fact that the math was totally incorrect. Five hundred million dollars divided by three hundred twenty-seven million people is $1.53 per person. Very simple and basic math. Was this done on purpose to try and fool Americans that the mainstream media think are ignorant, or was everyone on set at MSNBC just asleep at the wheel? It's hard to tell.
