as posted by the channelMarvel Comics released a brand new trailer introducing their New Warriors line-up that includes a new superhero called Safespace and his non-binary twin called Snowflake.
One of the writers appeared in a Marvel video on Youtube to explain the character's names and identities. He says "snowflake" and "safespace" are often used in derogatory ways online and this was a way to take that negative connotation back and claim it as a positive. Sounds like another negative/positive word used a lot online as well.
This series, a reboot of a previous comic Marvel had in their roster, reeks of social engineering of children. The very adult themes should be in books for adults, not for kids who are going to be very confused about what they read if they pick this book up.
