YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe Marine Corps may ban the terms "sir" and "ma'am" in an effort to become more gender inclusive. This new policy could be adopted as a result of a two-year, $2 million study commissioned by the Corps and conducted by the University of Pittsburgh. It is not quite clear why the Marine Corps would need to conduct this study about themselves. Maybe the study was necessary because of all the gender-nonconforming people entering the military. There will be a time when a person who is an obvious man may not identify as such, so then there is a problem with how to address this person. Another solution to this problem could be as simple as refusing to cater to a very small portion of the population. However, certain groups of people appear determined to see things go their way.
