as posted by the channelAfter President Trump spent $14 million to renovate the Reflecting Pool at the Washington Monument to improve the water and remove algae blooms, the blooms almost immediately returned. The blue paint that was added to the bottom of the pool is peeling up in certain places.
This appears to be a failed renovation attempt, no different than Obama in 2012 who spent $35 million on the same project. The question is, why have two presidents failed to tame the Reflecting Pool and what could be done to actually fix the problem?
