Be Ready to Learn - Be a True Disciple

If you want to receive the anointing in your life and grow spiritually you need to be a true disciple (have the heart and humility to learn). Be expectant to receive new revelation that will lead you to seeing the fruits and gifts of the spirit that you are currently not seeing in your life. Paul speaks about how he would feed his disciples milk and he wanted to feed them meat. Meaning, he had revelation God gave him that he was releasing to his disciples. Many times people take their spiritual father/mother/teacher too casually. Sometimes when one has been a Christian for so long they think that they don’t have anything else to learn (or that they could be wrong about some things like having wrong religious doctrine). If you want to grow and be a vessel whom God can trust to pour anointing in, you have to be a true disciple. Don’t come with your old Wineskin and bring your old ways of doing things. Expect and embrace the new revelation and new ways that come with the New Wine that God is pouring out (His anointing, His revival).

Luke 6:39-40 NKJV

And He spoke a parable to them: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into the ditch? A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

““And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.””

HEBREWS 5:11-14

We have much to say about this, but it is hard to make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
