The reason there is a great cost is because if you receive it cheaply, you will use it wrongly. The spiritual cost paid is linked to the transformation on your heart, so that when you receive the anointing, you will use it exactly how God wants you to use it, rather than for your own gain. Living a life of daily sacrificial love is one the main "costs" that most don't want to pay. To deny yourself and put others before yourself is not comfortable or fun, but it is required!
