A big way God speaks to you is through people. When someone encourages you TAKE IT AS GOD SPEAKING TO YOU! Give it that weight and attention! When someone speaks opposite of the word of God (negative, mean, hopeless, insult) it is the devil speaking through them, hoping he’ll trick you into thinking it’s truth. The enemy can easily use people of the world, but he can also use Christians who are not surrendered/need deliverance.
It’s important you recognize where God is speaking and where He is not, so you can receive His encouragement and love, and never accept lies of the enemy.
