as posted by the channelAfter 7 years of walking in my calling, I’ve received a deeper revelation of ‘the cost of the Anointing.’ A big part of the cost is the complete death to ego. It’s not fun to be misunderstood and lied about before an audience of thousands+. This kind of thing never happened to me before I stepped into my calling of an Apostle and began walking in the anointing, and it was quite startling and hurtful. When the false accusations and blatant lies began to be spoken about me, I remember thinking that God would vindicate me and make it seen by ALL that the lies were indeed lies. Then, Jesus reminded me that many false accusations were made about Him and believed by many. And TO THIS DAY, many still believe these false accusations (that He was a false prophet, that He wasn’t the Messiah - who He claimed to be). This humbled me to realize that I should not expect to be vindicated how I want to be vindicated. People will think what they want, say what they want, lie if they want, and because people are given free will, they can’t be stopped. And that’s something we have to accept. As a shepherd, I am not called to all people, but only the sheep that God has assigned to me. ‘My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.’ John 10:27 Don’t worry about those who will never see the truth about you. They’re not a part of your assignment. One thing is for sure: God will make sure that all negative words spoken about you will not prevent those with pure hearts to see the truth about you. He will make sure that whatever the enemy does through others, it will never stop God from doing what He wants to do through you! Don’t sweat the persecution: we have to accept it, and remember that it will never defeat us. Jesus will always give us the victory for His purposes and glory!
