Our heart’s desires can sometimes be deceitful. Our hearts desires can want fun, but God’s will is sometimes not fun. Our heart’s desires can want comfort, but God’s will can sometimes be uncomfortable. Our heart’s desires can want to go fast, when sometimes God’s will is to go slower. And sometimes our heart’s desires are to slow down and relax/enjoy the blessings, but God may want to go at a faster speed. Don’t follow your heart. Follow God and always seek after His will over your own.
