Sometimes it can be easy to think that everyone is always having mountaintop experiences but you. You can look at others’ highlight reels and think that they’re living on the mountaintop everyday. But the truth is that most days for most people are not mountaintop days. Most days are ordinary yet Jesus makes them extraordinary when you can seek Him for your contentment and surrender to His process. It is indeed a process to get to the promised land. There will be mountaintops, valleys and mostly ordinary days. Don’t waste the ordinary blessed days longing for the mountaintop when it’s simply not time yet. There is beauty in the journey.
