It’s important to see the importance of serving and contributing to the church, especially where you’re planted at. It’s important that all believers are united to build together, rather than being so focused on one’s own aspirations. As Elisha served Elijah, more of the work of God could then be done. And as Elisha valued the work of God and served Elijah, God could then entrust him with the anointing.
When God calls you to serve in some way at your church, it’s important to devote yourself and see the importance of the work God has called you to. Everything flows from the work of God that is done at the church.
