He does this by speaking wrong narratives about others through misunderstandings, wrong judgment, jealousy, fake accusations spoken by others about the person, thoughts coming into the mind, and in dreams. A big purpose behind this scheme is to try to keep you from being blessed and walking in your purpose. Believers must be on guard and spiritually awake, knowing that just because you have a strong feeling or vivid dream doesn’t mean it’s from God. At times it can be the enemy. If it has to do with negative thoughts about others, be aware that this very well could be the enemy crafting a wrong narrative about another believer.
Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour.
