From Pharisee to Disciple in a Moment

Sacha shares how he encountered Jesus in the midst of a war zone, an experience that forever changed the course of his life. After being discharged from the military, he pursued God more deeply, attending and graduating from a Christian college.

Meanwhile, his wife, Emily, was attending 5F Church and experiencing God in ways he struggled to understand. Unsure of what he was witnessing, Sacha wrestled with questions and skepticism, but everything began to change when Emily traveled to Tanzania to visit Prophet Dr. Geordavie (Apostle Kathryn’s spiritual father).

After four and a half years in revival, God chose to use a true Prophet of God from Tanzania to open Sacha’s eyes. While in Tanzania, Emily received a prophetic word and shared it with Sacha. The Prophet declared, “That’s not him,” and, “I see him changing quickly.” Those words began working deeply in Sacha’s heart.

The prophetic word was released on February 3 while Emily was in Tanzania. Three months later, on May 3, Sacha made the decision to attend church in person.

That day, Apostle Kathryn called Sacha to the stage and prophetically echoed the very words spoken by the Prophet: “Sacha, God says today, that’s not you.” In that moment, Sacha encountered the power of God in a way he never had before. He described feeling a physical squeezing in his body and his knees buckling under the weight of God’s presence.

Just a few weeks later, while serving at our church conference “Ignite”, Sacha shared with Emily how dramatically God had transformed his heart and mind.
