The Department of Justice has just released nearly 11 hours of surveillance video showing the hallway outside Jeffrey Epstein’s cell on the night he died in federal custody. The footage was recorded at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City, where Epstein was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. The DOJ says the video supports their conclusion that no one entered or exited the cell before Epstein’s death. But at 11:58:59, the timestamp abruptly jumps forward by one minute. That missing minute is present in both the original and the FBI-enhanced versions.
Was it just a glitch? Or something more? Federal authorities say no “client list” exists, and no further documents from the case will be released. This may be the only public record we ever see. Watch the full surveillance video here and decide for yourself.
