And physics has been in crisis ever since because gravity is not a particle force at all. It is a pressure effect. Think bubbles rising through water, nobody pushing them. Manipulating gravity means squeezing the lattice of spacetime itself. That is a completely different problem. And based on what we know now, somebody already cracked it.
