Students for Justice in Palestine held a rally yesterday calling on UGA to disclose and divest from Israel and to reverse the suspensions of the 16 protesters who were arrested.
We call on UGA to issue an unwavering statement of solidarity with the Palestinian people. UGA administration has ignored and actively facilitated Israel’s genocide in Palestine for seven months. Shame! We call on UGA to institute university policies enshrining protection for pro-Palestinian speech! What happened to us should not happen anywhere!
