Amanda Timpson said she was fired by Willis on Jan. 14, 2022, from her position as director of juvenile diversion within the DA’s office. Timpson said she was fired after making a third complaint against Willis and her administration over their alleged misuse of an almost $500,000 grant meant to develop the county Center of Youth Empowerment and Gang Prevention.
