7:42:47Now PlayingOne week after wrapping up its most emotional week, Young Thug’s trial was rocked by another judicial earthquake inside its Fulton County courtroom following Friday’s arrest of a central figure in the trial as a means to compel his testimony.
Quindarius Zachary (aka D, Dee and Lil’ Dee) has been repeatedly mentioned throughout the trial of Jeffery Williams (Young Thug’s real name). On Friday, according to Fulton County Jail records, Zachary was arrested and booked on an order for the arrest of a material witness.
On Monday, Zachary’s attorney, Dennis Scheib, pleaded with prosecutors and Fulton County Superior Court Judge Paige Reese Whitaker to release his client from jail, citing his health.
Scheib said Zachary was arrested after receiving medical treatment at a local medical facility, and said his client “will not survive in Fulton County” jail.
