21:48Now PlayingWith still no word on when Atlanta’s trial of the 21st century will continue, the attorney representing one of the defendants in Young Thug’s criminal trial said Shannon Stillwell will continue to fight for his innocence once the trial resumes.
“Mr. Stillwell has been wrongfully accused of these crimes in this indictment, dating back to 2015, for nearly a decade,” said attorney Max Schardt. “We have never wavered. Mr. Stillwell is innocent and we are fully prepared to continue to fight this case in court once the trial resumes.
“We appreciate and continue to ask for the support of so many people who have followed this case for the past two years.”
On-the-record courtroom proceedings were expected to resume Tuesday morning as prosecutors and defense attorneys in superstar rapper Young Thug’s trial continued meeting behind closed doors after the nation’s most watched judicial proceeding was thrown into upheaval last week.
