Joseph Grier, 39, faces several charges — including murder, hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated assault and kidnapping.
Thursday’s hearing is a pretrial conference, where the defense and prosecution meet before a possible trial. It is unknown if Grier will be in attendance.
