9:53Now PlayingClouds will continue to increase overnight and temperatures will drop into the 40s across most of North Georgia as our next rainmaker slowly moves towards the state. A spotty shower is possible overnight with better chances arriving in the early morning hours.
Rain increases tonight into early Sunday morning. Wet weather will be pretty widespread during the morning hours before becoming more hit-and-miss during the afternoon and evening. Keep an umbrella handy throughout the day, just in case.
The wettest of the weather arrives Sunday evening and persists through the Monday morning commute. Some heavier rain is possible during this time and there could be a few embedded thunderstorms moving through as well, mainly south of Interstate 20.
