as posted by the channelA strong cold front sweeps through in the wee hours of Thursday morning. A band of showers sweeps through between 2 and 6 a.m. Rain will be brief, but could be heavy in a few spots. Wet roads are possible during the morning commute; especially east metro.
Rain won’t have a significant impact on your drive in.
Temperatures remain steady in the low to mid-50s through Thursday afternoon. It’ll be a shock to the system compared to Wednesday afternoon. Winds become gusty through the afternoon. Plan on winds gusting 35-45 MPH through the day. Additional Wind Advisories are possible.
