First Alert Forecast: Mild and dry through Saturday, then storms return

Heading into the overnight hours, you can expect another spring night ahead with temperatures trending close to average. That means with upper 30s to lower 40s outside the perimeter, you may need a light jacket as you walk out the door Thursday morning. Inside the perimeter, expect morning lows in the upper 40s.

Thursday looks fantastic! Plenty of sunshine throughout the day with highs in the low to middle 70s! A few clouds will roll in later in the evening and will give way to mostly cloudy skies on Friday. Even with increased cloud cover, Friday is looking dry with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Saturday looks dry through the day, but showers are possible Saturday night. The timing on this still needs work, but we will keep you posted so you ca adjust any evening plans.

First Alert Weather Days Sunday and Monday:

Rain will be possible Sunday morning, but come Sunday afternoon and evening, we will be watching for storms to develop ahead of a cold front Monday.

The dynamics for severe weather increase Sunday afternoon, so we will be keeping a close eye on Sunday as we get better data.

Monday still looks to be the day with the best chance for severe storms. A cold front will come through by late morning through the early afternoon.

It’s too soon to nail down the precise timing and storm threats, but as we get those details, the First Alert Weather Team will let you know.
