YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe forecast overnight continues the trend of milder and more humid air pushing into the Southeast U.S. Temperatures will dip into the middle 60s around sunrise on Easter Sunday in the city of Atlanta while those outside the perimeter will see upper 50s to lower 60s and overcast skies. Easter Sunday and the final day of Passover remain warm and dry as well. You’ll notice an increase in cloud cover tomorrow with highs in the low 80s.
Starting off next week, Monday is on track to be warm and mostly dry as a cold front slowly works its way to North Georgia. Overcast skies will remain, and a slight chance for a late evening shower is possible, mainly along and north of a line from Rome to Canton to Helen. There may be an isolated storm mixed in with the showers as well.
First Alert Weather Day Tuesday: A cold front will move into the area Tuesday, bringing our first more substantial chance for rain in over a week. While the day won’t be a washout, scattered storms will be possible, especially north of I-20. Thankfully, the severe threat for this system will diminish as it moves closer to North Georgia and no severe storms are in our forecast.
