First Alert Forecast+: Scattered storms return Thursday

Look for another muggy night ahead with overnight lows dipping back into the upper 60s to lower 70s across much of North Georgia. As the stationary front remains to our south, we can expect a dry night ahead and a dry commute in the morning.

Tomorrow afternoon, that front returns north and pulls in lots of moisture to allow for scattered storms to develop in the afternoon and evening. A very Summer-like pattern will set up late week into the weekend, but with a steady stream of moisture coming in, rain coverage will increase by the weekend.
