LIVE SNOW CAMERA: Cold, windy with snow in the North Georgia mountains | First Alert Weather Day

A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of the north Georgia mountains through late tonight.

Scattered snow showers are expected through the afternoon, and these could be heavy enough to cause some snow accumulation in the higher elevations. While ground temperatures are still fairly mild, the snow could briefly be heavy enough to accumulate in the grass and rooftops.
