His life was cut short when he was shot while on duty in 2018, taken by an individual who had been through the Gwinnett Juvenile Court system, Lisa Jones, police legal advisor at the Gwinnett County Police Department said.
Now, the Gwinnett County Police Department teamed up with the Gwinnett Juvenile Court for an effort named "Toney’s Program." Children with gun related charges are assigned by the court. It’s a seven-week course that teaches kids their rights and more.
