The department unveiled its new Real-Time Crime Center this week, featuring a video wall, Flock Safety cameras, and license plate readers positioned across the city. The technology has already helped locate abducted children and solve cases across multiple counties.
But not everyone is on board. Some residents and civil liberties advocates have raised privacy concerns about the new system.
