15:32Now PlayingOn Friday, Kemp will sign a bill suspending Georgia’s gas tax for 60 days. He’s also expected to sign the income tax rebate bill.
The approval of the gas tax suspension comes after the House and Senate overwhelmingly approved the amendment to HB 1199, a routine tax code bill, on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. The state’s gas tax is currently 33.3 cents per gallon, or 37.3 cents for diesel.
