as posted by the channelThe DEA is warning about a synthetic opioid called cychlorphine that is 10 times more potent than fentanyl and making its way across the Southeast. The drug has been linked to more than 40 deaths in Tennessee since last summer and has been reported in nine other states.
There are no confirmed cases in Georgia yet, but authorities say it is only a matter of time. A person experiencing an overdose may require multiple doses of Narcan to counteract its effects.
