2:44Now PlayingRodney Taylor, a double amputee who spent more than 16 months in ICE detention at a south Georgia facility, is speaking out for the first time since his release.
Taylor, who came to the U.S. on a legal medical visa at age 2, says his health deteriorated due to medical neglect while in custody.
"These are human beings, but they treat us like cattle waiting to be slaughtered, but in this case, deported," Taylor said in his first public remarks. His detention was tied to a teenage burglary conviction for which he was later pardoned.
