as posted by the channel⚠️ Content warning: The following video contains footage of a shooting scene. Cell phone video captured the moments Cobb County officers chased 25-year-old Cortez Eatmon through the Town Center Mall parking lot Wednesday before an officer opened fire.
Police say Eatmon, who was wanted on a shoplifting call, pulled out a gun after ignoring commands to stop and being tased. Eatmon was rushed to a hospital where he later died. No officers were hurt. The GBI is investigating whether the use of force was justified.
