Others, like Latisha Hopkins, who says she was violently attacked on a MARTA train in March, are welcoming it. "I'm happy they're doing that because they need to be investigated," Hopkins said.
MARTA says it welcomes the opportunity to share its safety and security efforts with federal officials.
