Atlanta's World Cup billboards are giving a whole new meaning to "scoring." ⚽
Bold billboards featuring soccer ball-themed condoms are popping up across the city, sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Public health leaders say large events like the World Cup can lead to a spike in STI rates, and they want fans to have a good time — safely.
"You know you're coming, you want to have a good time, and there's a possibility you may engage in extracurricular activity. Just be proactive," AHF spokesperson Imara Canady said. Free STI testing and condoms are available at metro Atlanta clinics and mobile testing units throughout the tournament.
