More than 70 Canadian geese have taken over the area, leaving droppings on sidewalks, walkways and the community beach, forcing residents to close off parts of the lake when bacteria levels get too high.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is stepping in to help remove them, and resident Steve Seitz says the fact that the geese are currently molting and can't fly should make them easier to corral.
