2:09Now PlayingHeads up, Grant Park residents. Mosquitoes in the area have tested positive for West Nile virus, and the Fulton County Board of Health went door to door Wednesday to alert neighbors.
Doctors say 80% of those infected show no symptoms or only mild ones, but in rare cases, especially for the elderly and immunocompromised, it can cause more severe illness.
To protect yourself, avoid being outside at dusk and dawn, wear long sleeves, use insect repellent and drain any standing water around your home.
