as posted by the channel

Lime e-scooters and bikes have rolled out across downtown Decatur as part of a pilot program launched in connection with the World Cup and Decatur Watch Fest.

The city says the program is designed to provide additional transportation options for short trips within Decatur and longer trips between Decatur and Atlanta. Not everyone is thrilled, though. Some residents say the scooters are cluttering sidewalks and blocking intersections.

Safety experts also warn riders to treat the vehicles with the same caution as a motorcycle. The city has not said whether the program will continue after the World Cup ends.
