1:39Now PlayingTen-year-old Summer McCallum is speaking out after DeKalb County teacher Derrick Moore jumped into a Myrtle Beach rip current to save her and her uncle, and lost his life in the process. Moore, 47, reached out his arm to pull Summer to safety before being pulled under by the current. His body was recovered the following morning nearly a mile from shore. Moore taught at Rockbridge Elementary School in DeKalb County.
