In a letter to Atlanta Legacy '96, Dickens argued the cauldron should remain in the Summerhill neighborhood that hosted the 1996 Olympics. Community groups have also protested the proposed move, while GSU says it has the backing of Olympic organizer Billy Payne and former Mayor Andrew Young.
