Thompson, 50, outside the Hilton Hotel at 1335 Ave of the Americas bet W 53 & 54 at 6:46 am this morning. The suspect is described as a masked light-skinned male, 6 feet tall, wearing a distinctive grey backpack. The suspect fled on foot and was last seen on a CitiBike e-bike entering Central Park at Center Drive. Police are asking anyone with info to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-577-8477 (TIPS) and have announced a $10,000 reward.
Thompson was sh*t in the back & leg with a 9mm and pronounced at 7:12 am at Roosevelt Hospital.
