KAREN READ has filed an Amended Complaint in Federal Court in the Civil Rights/ Civil Conspiracy/ Malicious Prosecution, IIED lawsuit against the above defendants. The case was originally filed in Bristol Superior Court in November 2025, after Karen Read's second trial in Norfolk Superior Court (Beverly Cannone, J., presiding) and acquittal in all charges involving the death of Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe, and was removed to Federal Court by the "House Defendants" shortly thereafter. The case is presently assigned to Judge Denise Casper.
