Disch coached Texas until 1939 and the stadium Texas plays in today is partially named after him. In 1940 Texas hired Bibb Falk and in 24 years (Falk wasn't the coach from 1943-1945) as the coach he won back-to-back titles in 1949 and 1950, 20 SWC titles and 465 games.
