Pflugerville officer seeks bone marrow donor for ill daughter Camryn Anderson, 9, can no longer go to school because her immune system is too fragile, Sgt. Kurk Anderson and his wife, Kimberly, said. Camryn has a severe form of aplastic anemia, her father said. The disease prevents a person’s bone marrow from making blood cells. Without a bone marrow transplant, Camryn has about a year to live, Sgt. Anderson said. The Anderson family is asking people to join a bone marrow registry called Be the Match.
