A large pothole and a possible water main break shut down a Central Austin intersection on Friday afternoon, Oct. 26, 2018.

Crews shut down 47th Street at Caswell Avenue in Central Austin just before 4 p.m. due to a possible water main break, Austin police said. Water is pouring out of a 2-by-3-foot pothole, police said.
