1:17Now PlayingA Navy T-45C Goshawk was on it's decent during a routine training flight about a mile north of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth when a large bird collided with the Navy jet.
The pilots ejected before the plane crashed. They were injured, but have since recovered. Three homes in the Lake Worth community were damaged in the crash. This footage was released by the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service a year after the crash.
