as posted by the channelEagle Pass Mayor Rolano Salinas said in Facebook live stream that the state had an "emergency declaration" that allowed them to take control of the Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, adding he was told it was done to prevent illegal migrants from crossing into Texas.
"This is not a decision that we agreed to," Salinas said. "This is not something that we wanted, this is not something that we asked for as a city."
Previous footage showed migrants being processed at the Eagle Pass park just weeks earlier during a migrant surge.
