Colombia initially refused military flights carrying deportees from the U.S., but the two countries reached a deal after Trump threatened tariffs and sanctions against Colombia.
Leavitt, a 27-year-old New Hampshire native, met with reporters Tuesday for the first time as Trump's press secretary. She is the youngest person in American history to hold the position.
