On Tuesday, June 10, a protest spilling onto Highway 101 was disrupted by police and California Highway Patrol, and appeared to lead to individuals being detained and/ arrested. The protest moved away from the highway, peacefully heading on another route.
CHP later confirmed that 67 protesters were arrested in what officials called a “public safety hazard.”
