Both of the enraged parties seemed irate over little to nothing but were equally convinced of the villainy of others. In this video, I provide some information on the theory of fundamental attribution error, which posits that we tend to think the failures of others are due to their nature, while the failures of ourselves are situational. Could this seemingly contagious outrage be a product of the fundamental attribution error?
