6:25Now PlayingCherrie Bramwell, a highly respected palaeontologist and zoologist who specialises in pterodactyls, lives with Balls - the showbiz fruit bat. Balls spends most of his days dutifully hanging from Cherrie's neck like a big furry pendant, but it is not uncommon for him to accompany her to the shops, or even to the occasional party. Balls, being nocturnal after all, is at his best at night - and he loves a tipple.
Despite living with a human, Balls has fathered over 100 baby bats - thanks to a lonely hearts ad Cherrie placed in a newspaper.
